Applications can be submitted until 21 May 2026 (13:00 Greek time).<\/p>\n<p>This position is offered within Cedefop\u2019s VET and Skills Department,<em>VET and Skills<\/em>which works on the analysis of European VET policy, skills forecasting, and the interaction between education and the labour market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selected expert will contribute to Cedefop\u2019s work, which aims to provide evidence-based insights and recommendations for European Union and national vocational education and training (VET) policy development.<\/p>\n<p>The main tasks will include:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Research and policy analysis:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analyse trends in vocational education and training (VET) and skills development, and provide insights to support policy-making;<\/li>\n<li>apply quantitative and qualitative research methods and develop analytical models;<\/li>\n<li>conduct interviews, surveys, case studies and other research activities;<\/li>\n<li>participate in capacity-building and peer-learning activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Knowledge dissemination and communication:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>prepare analytical reports, policy briefs, publications and other knowledge products;<\/li>\n<li>present results at conferences, seminars and expert networks;<\/li>\n<li>cooperate with EU institutions, social partners and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Project and contract management:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>plan and coordinate research projects;<\/li>\n<li>manage the implementation of activities, timelines and deliverables;<\/li>\n<li>participate in procurement procedures and the management of contracts with external partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>strong analytical and research skills;<\/li>\n<li>a good knowledge of European vocational education and training (VET) and skills policies;<\/li>\n<li>experience in both quantitative and qualitative research (mixed methods are an asset);<\/li>\n<li>ability to work in an international, project-based environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is aimed at professionals in the social sciences or related fields who wish to contribute to EU policy development and analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cedefop is one of the EU\u2019s decentralised agencies, based in Thessaloniki (Greece), supporting the development of VET, skills and qualifications policies across Europe.
