What is ReferNet?
ReferNet is a network of institutions established by Cedefop in 2002 to provide information on national vocational education and training systems and policies in the European Union Member States, Iceland, and Norway.
ReferNet Work Program for 2025:
1. Preparation of the Lithuanian vocational training policy progress report for 2025.
2. Preparation and dissemination of national news on vocational training and adult education developments through the information channels of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop).
3. Skills overview: The case of Lithuania.
4. Thematic review on the recognition of vocational training qualifications in the European Union: the case of Lithuania.
5. Implementation of publicity activities (preparation and distribution of the KPMPC ReferNet Lithuania newsletter, updating and maintenance of the ReferNet Lithuania website, communication on social networks, etc.).
International ReferNet partner network
Cedefop's ReferNet network brings together vocational training experts and institutions across Europe. National partners from all 27 EU Member States, as well as Iceland and Norway, are actively involved in the network's activities.
In each country, ReferNet is represented by a selected national institution responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information on vocational training. This broad geographical coverage allows for the comparison of different countries' experiences and the creation of a common European vision of vocational training.
