Mission and role

Our mission is to help the European Commission, Member States, and social partners develop a vocational training system that meets the changing needs of the labor market. We collect data, conduct research, and provide expert insights to help strengthen the supply of skills, promote lifelong learning, and ensure the recognition of qualifications across the European Union.

CEDEFOP public procurement

Cedefop is an agency of the European Union with legal personality and the right to enter into contracts with natural and legal persons. Public procurement carried out by Cedefop is subject to the provisions of the EU Financial Regulation, the Cedefop Financial Regulation, and the EU Public Procurement Directives. Cedefop regularly organizes public procurement procedures in which both natural and legal persons from the Republic of Lithuania can participate on an equal footing, in accordance with the principles of transparency, non-discrimination, competition, and sound financial management.

Cedefop offers a competitive salary, which is exempt from national taxes, and attractive additional benefits comparable to those of European Union officials.
