Cedefop has published a call for applications for a fixed-term secondment as a Seconded National Expert (SNE) in the field of vocational education and training (VET) policies and systems.
The secondment is intended for professionals working in national, regional or local public administration institutions, international organisations, employers’ or employees’ organisations who would like to contribute to the monitoring and analysis of European vocational education and training (VET) policy, as well as to international cooperation activities.
The selected expert would work in Cedefop’s Department for VET and Qualifications, and together with Cedefop’s VET policies and systems team, would contribute to the following areas:
- monitoring of VET policies and systems in Europe;
- comparative analysis and research;
- analysis of developments in national VET systems;
- preparation of thematic and country reports;
- cooperation with ReferNet partners and other European experts in the field of vocational education and training.
The secondment offers an opportunity to deepen knowledge of European Union VET policy, gain international work experience and strengthen professional networks across Europe.

- a motivation letter;
- a curriculum vitae (CV);
- confirmation from the employer that, in the event of selection, the employee’s salary and administrative status will be maintained throughout the period of secondment.
