Call for applications for the "Cedefop Traineeships 2026" program has been announced

The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) has published a new call for applications for the “Cedefop Traineeships 2026” program. The traineeship programme is intended for university graduates who wish to gain professional experience in a European Union agency and become familiar with its activities.

The traineeships take place at Cedefop’s headquarters in Thessaloniki, Greece. The 2026 traineeship programme starts on 1 October 2026 and has a duration of 10 months.

The traineeships may be carried out in various areas of Cedefop’s work. Trainees may contribute to the analysis of vocational education and training policies and systems, research on qualifications and skills, communication and dissemination of publications, information technology and administrative activities, as well as activities related to supporting the ReferNet network.

Applicants must be citizens of the European Union or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries, have completed at least three years of higher education studies (with a qualification at least at level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework – EQF), and have English language proficiency at a minimum of C1 level. The diploma must have been obtained no more than three years before the application deadline.

The application deadline is 21 April 2026.
